Awesome Food's First Grant!

You're awesome, Compost Mobile of Miami! This super-nifty residential compost pick-up service out of Miami, FL snagged the first annual $1,000 micro-grant awarded by Awesome Food, a cool new initiative put forth by The Awesome Foundation for the Arts and Sciences. 

Kudos from Amanda & Merrill (our very own trustees of Awesome Food itself -- remember?) and the rest of us at Food52. Chosen from approximately 600 applicants, these innovators have taken food truck culture to a whole new level -- a socially conscious one! Anyone who wants to drive around other people's compost to urban farms and community gardens is clearly doing a good thing.
