3 Gorgeous Recipes We Love

April 27, 2012

Each week, we bring you three gorgeous recipes we love from around the web. This week, they're all about peas - on toast, in a salad, and in a soup.

After baking a fresh loaf of whole wheat bread, Jacqui, of Good Things Grow, decided on making Spring Pea Mash on Whole Wheat Toasts with the fresh peas from her produce box. Lightly cooked and tossed in lemon, oregano, garlic, salt, and pepper, her recipe highlights the freshness of tender spring peas.

Tami of Running with Tweezers celebrates the sweetness of peas with her simple Spring Pea and Radish Salad. Tossed with almond slivers, lemon vinaigrette, and parmesan cheese, Tami suggests adding a hunk or two of crusty bread and a glass of wine for the perfect springtime celebration.

Carol of Milk and Mode takes a heartier approach to peas. Her Split Pea Soup is perfect for one of those chilly spring days when it's not quite yet warm enough for a light and refreshing salad.
