July  6, 2012

Yesterday, we talked about holding on to your farmer’s market bounty as long as humanly possible. With perfect timing, Saveur brings us 32 (32!) recipes for pickling our produce. They include the classics (red onions, baby vegetables), but for those of you a little more adventurous with your brines, there are some more exotic options as well (blueberries! chanterelles!). There’s enough here to keep you wielding vinegar all summer long.

I am a fan of anything quickly pickled. Did the blueberries the other day and they are unique but great! A great treat with many uses...
