We love family recipes. Whether it be a chewy chocolate chip cookie recipe, or a succulent pot roast, Grandma always seemed to have a few kitchen tricks hidden up her sleeves. But when it comes to traditional Russian cuisine, this Babushka's Uzbekistani-inspired dumplings sound like quite the hidden gem. Smoky and rich, these delightful dumplings named "Manti" were The Wall Street Journal writer Olga Massov's favorite childhood memory during her visits home to Russia. And by the looks of it, we can't really blame her.

Babushka's Manti and Cucumber Radish Salad from The Wall Street Journal.
