There’ll still be plenty of time for perfecting your caramel apples and carving your pumpkins, but this year, there’s a new skill to add to the Halloween list: puff pastry. As you know, we always love a good contest, so this year, get ready to show your best puff pastry. But this time, direct it to our friends over at Serious Eats

Impress them with your creations (savory or sweet -- they’re equal opportunity when it comes to baking), and you could be going on a pastry crawl through New York City with their whole team. And trust us, they’re fun people
