The Latest Coffee Trend

If you missed out on trying a cup of coffee passed through a Southeast Asian monkey's digestive tract, there's no need to worry: you can now pay $50 for a cup of coffee made from — yes, you're reading this right — elephant dung. The Huffington Post has the scoop on this hot coffee that's now being sold on resorts in the Maldives and Thailand.

Research on this coffee claims that due to the digestive system of elephants, there is little to no bitterness commonly associated with the taste of coffee. This may mean that you won't have to take any milk in your cup to dilute any bitter taste. But is that worth it?

If you're not a coffee drinker, good news: there will apparently be green tea grown with panda dung available for consumption as well, at a hefty $200 a cup.
