The Piglet
UPDATE: Piglet Contest Predictions

In case you haven't seen the news, this year's Piglet Tournament of Cookbooks is about to begin! Each day, one judge -- from a very exciting group ranging from Stanley Tucci to Melissa Clark -- will decide the winner of a cookbook face-off. Just like an NCAA Basketball tournament, 16 cookbooks will go head to head, and only one will win.
Here's where you come in. We want to hear your predictions for this year's Piglet winner: who will it be? Get involved in this year's competition by filling out your bracket and sharing your prediction in the comments, on Facebook, or on twitter (with the #Piglet hashtag!) If you're right, you could win a copy of the winning cookbook!
To enter, post your prediction on twitter between 9 AM EST on Monday, Feb 4th and 9 PM on Tuesday, Feb 5th. See the full list of contenders here. Let the games begin, and may the odds be ever in your favor.
Tell us: who will be this year's winner?
Sign up now and get $10 when we open.

I know the least about Burma and her foods, but want to learn. A vote for Burma.

Jerusalem! My mom made the chocolate babka this weekend. Incredible. And the turkey burgers. So good.

The Piglet is too quirky for predictions, but I'd be thrilled by a Burma v. Jerusalem finale. My two favorites of the year.

I'll go with Jerusalem, even though it's a shame that it's pitted right away against Asian Tofu—a great, definitive source for a singular topic not often covered. And the everyday recipes that use tofu are great, too.

I wish Burma would win, but I think Jerusalem probably will win.

do we need to fill out the brackets or just give a final winner? If so, I pick "Burma"

Roots by Diane Morgan. Awesome book! (Though in my heart, I'd say the Bouchon Bakery Cookbook should win because dessert ALWAYS wins! :)

Are all of your contests only through twitter? I don't use twitter - wondering if that means I can't participate?

Not all of our contests, no, but this one is, unfortunately. The good news: setting up a twitter account is super easy -- come join us, it'll be fun!
