The first time I ever planted basil to make pesto I had no idea how much basil it took. Luckily I was working at Corso's Greenhouse in Sandusky Ohio. I took care of the herbs and was able to take home the basil I harvested. I miss those days...:-(

It just shrinks right down in the food processor, doesn't it? Kind of like cooking spinach.
