Champagne for Mother's Day

by:
April 20, 2010

This week, Sasha recommends a delicate Larmandier-Bernier Champagne -- the perfect special occasion bubbly to share with your mom this Mother's Day. Though it's unavailable on Bottlerocket.com at the moment, you can read more about it and save it to your wishlist here. Apologies for any inconvenience -- hopefully it will be available for purchase in the next few days.

In the meantime, you can still take advantage of our 10% online discount on any still wine at Bottlerocketwine.com by entering this promotional code at checkout through the end of April: 52APR10

Don't forget to check out Sasha's website, Spin The Bottle, for more great tips on wine.

Keep checking back with the link above and Bottlerocket, should be in momentarily. In the meantime, go to your local wine store and ask for a good "grower champagne" -- that means the producer grows the grapes and makes the wines. You'll find some cool, distinctive wines. Not cheap (good Champagne rarely is) but interesting, and worth it!

Love L-B...love all the growers, for that matter. Wouldn't the world be grand if half the Yellow Label buyers bought a grower half the time...

Agreed. I'm trying to convert as many people as I can. Funnily enough, my mom loves "The Widow" (but I serve her grower champagne, or interesting cava, whenever she comes over.)
