Your Photos: Bright and Sunny

January 30, 2014

The cure for the common cold? Chicken soup.
The cure for a long day at work? A strong drink.
And the cure for the winter doldrums? Citrus.

It's the time of year when you can't bear another gray weather day and it's hard to keep up your levels of vitamins C and D. Take a vacation from reality and turn to oranges, grapefruits, lemons, limes, kumquats, and any other tangy, bright fruits you can get. Not only will it help you fend off any lingering flu-like symptoms, but it will remind you of sunny days to come.

I used to work at Food52. I'm probably the person who picked all of the cookie dough out of the cookie dough ice cream.
