Cheese1227, a food writer living in central Pennsylvania, is as dedicated to the food52 community as they come. In addition to submitting dozens of lovely recipes, she has also regularly tested Editors' Picks, reported on and photographed food52 potlucks, and even hosted the recent food52 Canorama.
Her writing chops are evident in her thoughtful headnotes and instructions for recipes like Hot Smoked Salmon, Soba and Asian Greens Salad and Retro Raspberry Lime Rickeys, both of which achieved Finalist status, and on her blog, where she details adventures and insights from trading in a "fat-salaried tech writing job for a culinary school apron," as she puts it.
