Food52 Bite Club
First, industrious food52 members started organizing food52 potlucks, which we loved.
Now, sygyzy and his cleverly named Bite Club have thrown an (almost) all-food52 dinner party. See more photos (and get the recipe for his intriguing microwave pistachio sponge cake) here.
- The Menu
- Blackberry Caipirinha
- Lychee Shooter with Asian Mignonette and Pink Peppercorns
- Watermelon and Goat Cheese Salad with a Verbena Infused Vinaigrette
- Grilled Rack of Lamb Asian Salad
- Pistachio Sponge Cake with Strawberries and Creme Fraiche (a riff on this Pistachio Meringue Stack with Rose Cream and Strawberries -- except the pistachio cake is cooked in plastic cups in the microwave!)
Sign up now and get $10 when we open.

Thanks for the coverage guys! If you want to start your own Bite Club, the rules are simple.
1. The host must plan a 3 course meal, buy the ingredients, and be prepared with equipment and groceries.
2. Everyone must help to prepare the dishes and they must be all homemade - delivery pizza does not count! This is a learning experience.
3. Everyone must "bite" (read: host). We rotate in the same order and are up to No. 17 now.
The original club is actually in Mountain View, CA. We are a spin-off in Santa Barbara. For more information check out my collection on Flickr or visit our official website (www.biteclub.org). Unfortunately, we are a little behind on documentation.

Abbie is a trusted source on General Cooking.
Very cool - love that Food52 is spawning all of these get togethers!
