An after-dinner drink *everyone* can enjoy. —Sagegreen

What You'll Need
Ingredients
  • 1 stalk fresh fennel (about 1 x 2 inches)
  • 6 ounces hot brewed coffee
  • 2 teaspoons caramel sauce
  • 1.5 ounces Spice 94 Seedlip
Directions
  1. Score and smash the fresh fennel stalk and pour the hot coffee over it. Stir in the caramel to dissolve. Strain into the serving glass. Stir in the Seedlip. Serve warm.

It's good, but you can definitely skip the Seedlip. I tried it both ways and didn't think it added anything.

Wonder if seedslip goes bad. Do you know? Mine is rather old

I like to make Glühwein for winter parties. You can find lots of good recipes for this German version of mulled wine with either red or white wine.
