Meet the Maker
Mourne Textiles
New York, NY
Mourne Textiles started back in 1949, when legendary Norwegian designer-maker Gerd Hay-Edie opened up her own workshop near Ireland’s Mourne Mountains and trained local farmers' children to hand-weave her designs. It’s now a third-generation family-run business who’s using their iconic textile designs and pioneering weaving techniques to create stunning table linens, blankets, and more.
