This hand-carved walnut spoon made exclusively for Food52 is the spoon we’d take with us to a desert island (because we’re the type of people who would bring kitchenware to a desert island). Each spoon takes several hours to create, resulting in unique designs that are not only beautiful, but incredibly functional: The handles are ergonomically formed to feel good in your hand and the unique right-angle edge of the scoop fits into the corners of jars and pots and helps you scrape up the beloved “brown bits” on the bottom of a pan.
