Author Notes
This recipe is originally from France. Very popular cake for birthdays. I love it because it's simple to make, few ingredients and doesn't need to be baked! You can make as many layers as you want or as big or small. —najwaK

Ingredients
-
4 ounces
Butter, softened
-
1/4 cup
sugar
-
2 cups
Strong brewed coffee
-
1
Egg lightly beaten
-
20
Tea biscuits
-
Cocoa Powder
Directions
-
cream the butter and sugar until it's light and fluffy. Add in the beaten egg and mix until well incorporated.
In a rectangular cake board, arrange alternately a layer of cookies soaked in coffee and layer of the creamed
butter, I usually do 5 layers. Do not dunk the cookies on the coffee for too long or it will fall apart. when done,
cover the cake with more creamed butter and dust with cocoa powder.
Refrigerate at least two hours.
