Combine:
1 cup soy sauce
1/3 cup sugar
4 cloves garlic (smashed and pulverized)
4 tsps grated fresh ginger
4 tbs rice wine vinegar
2 tbs (or more) Indonesian Sambal
1 bunch chopped green onions
1/2 cup chopped cilantro

Pierce flank steak with fork all over - both sides. Let marinade for 1 to 2 hours.

Cook over high heat quickly to develop a good char. Pull meat when still somewhat rare. Cover with foil and let cook up for twenty minutes. Slice against the grain and serve over Japanese style rice, with Japanese cucumber/ cabbage salad. Enjoy with icy Korean Soju.
