Ingredients
  • 1 Large loaf of French bread
  • 1 Stick of real butter
  • 1 Envelope of Lipton onion soup mix(dry kind)
Directions
  1. On stovetop melt butter & add the envelope of onion soup mix. Simmer & stir. While this is smelling wonderful, then slice your loaf of bread, being careful to leave it all intact at bottom of loaf. Place the loaf into heavy duty foil. Stuff cheese into bread filling the middle of each slice. Stir the butter & soup mix well. Then drizzle this over & between each slice of bread. Wrap this tightly with the foil & place onto baking sheet. Cook in oven for 20 minutes at 350•. This is an excellent side for a steak, spaghetti supper, or most any dish. It is simple & delicious!
