This is a recipe given to our family by a friend named Olga. It's real name is Olga's Upside Down Cake, but we know it as Olga. We loved it and didn't get it often because it was sweet (bad for our teeth) and chocolatey (expensive). We loved the cake with pudding underneath eaten warm. Ingredients

1 cup
flour

2 teaspoons
baking powder

1/2 teaspoon
salt

3/4 cup
sugar

2 tablespoons
cocoa
-
1/2 cup
milk

1 teaspoon
vanilla

2 tablespoons
melted butter

3/4 cup
brown sugar
-
1/4 cup
cocoa
-
1 1/4 cups
hot water
Directions

Sift together dry ingredients, except for the brown sugar and cocoa, and stir in wet ingredients. Mix til smooth and pour into an eight inch square cake pan.

Mix the brown sugar and cocoa and sprinkle over top of batter. Pour hot water over all and bake at 350 x 30-45 minutes.
