Author Notes

This classic and delicious vodka cocktail can be made with orange juice, grapefruit, or even blood oranges. A refreshing drink, and perfect for summertime.

Cooking tip: For a sweeter cocktail you can easily use fresh orange juice, but if a more dramatic cocktail is what you're seeking, try using blood oranges in place of the pink grapefruit. They are in season from November to April in the U.S. This recipe was written by the Healthline Editorial Team: http://www.healthline.com/health-recipes/blushing-maid —Healthline
