Ingredients
  • 250 grams flour + some extra to knead
  • 100 grams caster sugar
  • 75 grams brown sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 25 grams butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons amaretto
  • 150 grams almonds
  • 1 packet chocolate chunks
Directions
  1. Heat your oven to 180°C and line a baking sheet with baking paper. Add all dry ingredients together in a large bowl and add the eggs, butter and amaretto. Form a smooth dough and lastly add the almonds and chocolate chunks. Divide the dough into two and make two long rolls. Set onto the baking sheet and bake for 20- 25 minutes - the cantuccini should be slightly brown. Cool down for a few minutes and reduce the oven temperature to 110°C. Cut the cantuccini into small pieces and bake again for 10 minutes.

These sound perfectly marvelous! What is the weight of the packets of chocolate chunks? We have quite a few options here. I'm wondering as well if one could cut up into pieces a block of chocolate instead? Thank you so much. ;o)
