Ingredients
  • 2 cups Overnight soaked yellow lentils
  • 1 tablespoon Ginger paste
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chilli paste
Directions
  1. Firstly, drain the soaked lentils and grind it coarsely. Add the garlic, ginger and chilli paste as well as ground cumin to the lentils. After that, add salt according to your taste, additionally, add dash of lemon juice. Leave this mix for a while. In the meantime, heat vegetable oil in a deep frying pan. Fry the dollops of mix until golden (make sure the temperature of the oil is appropriate for frying). Serve it with peanuts and beaten or puffed rice.
