A moist and delicious "melt in your mouth" chocolate cake recipe that is a perfect for every party! An absolute crowd pleaser. Topped off with homemade cream cheese frosting. —Dash of Amy

- Chocolate Cake

all purpose flour

1 3/4 cups
organic sugar

1 3/4 teaspoons
baking powder

1 3/4 teaspoons
baking soda

salt

3/4 cup
Hershey's cocoa powder

eggs

1 cup
milk

1/2 cup
olive oil

2 teaspoons
vanilla extract

1 cup
boiling water

2 tablespoons
butter to grease the pan
- Cream Cheese Frosting

8 ounces
softened cream cheese

2 tablespoons
softened butter
-
1 teaspoon
vanilla extract

2 teaspoons
milk

2 cups
powdered sugar
Directions
- Chocolate Cake

Mix the dry ingredients together in a large bowl, or the bowl of your stand mixer if using one until well incorporated.

Add the remaining ingredients except the boiling water and butter, and mix well using a stand mixer, or an electric beater and blend until smooth.

Add the boiling water and mix on a low setting at first, then increase the speed until well mixed.

Grease a bundt pan with butter, and a light spray of cooking spray, and pour the batter in.

Bake at 350* for 35 minutes.
- Cream Cheese Frosting

Beat the cream cheese by itself first using a mixer.

Add the remaining frosting ingredients, and blend until smooth and creamy.

Once the cake cools, transfer it to a serving platter, and generously coat it with the frosting.
