High Fiber Cereal with fruit, yoghurt, and shredded wheat sprinkles

I use one portion of high fiber hot cereal with a variety of fruit such as blueberries, cherries, peaches/nectarines, mangos, bananas, strawberries. I top it off with a sprinkle of bite-sized shredded wheat and 3 scoops of plain nonfat Straus yoghurt. There is no added sugar. —P. Gassler

Ingredients
  • high fiber hot cereal
  • 1/4 cup dry cups hot cereal single serving
  • fruit
  • 3 tbs tablespoons blueberries
  • 4 tbs tablespoons cherries
  • 1 a medium banana
  • 3 tbs tablespoons plain nonfat yoghurt
  • 1/2 cup cups shredded wheat - mini wheats or shredded
Directions

  2. Makes one serving of hot cereal that takes about 20-25 minutes to cook.

  2. Wash, de-pit, dice fruit into the cereal. It is not necessary to use all the fruits listed per serving. Just use at least 3 including the banana. Mix. Add the yoghurt. Mix. Sprinkle the shredded wheat.
