1 bowl basmati rice

1 tbsp oil

3 1/4 cups water

1 teaspoon garlic

1 medium onion , finely diced

1/4 cup tomato sauce, or 2 pureed tomatoes

2 tomato bouillon cubes or alternative Knor thai vegetable soup powder

1/4 teaspoon salt
-
1 carrot , diced (frozen)

1/2 cup peas (frozen or fresh)
Directions

1)Rinse and drain the rice in a fine mesh strainer.
2)Start the instant pot with a Saute setting for 10 min ,add the oil. Add the rice and stir to combine.Stirring frequently, until the rice is lightly golden brown all over (about 10 minutes).

3)Add tomato sauce, garlic, and diced onion to the pan. Stir. Add knor thai vegeatble soup powder, salt, carrots, peas, and water (double the quantity of rice)
4)Cook, stirring, until completely dissolved. Bring to a boil, then cover the lid and cook for about 10 minutes or until the water is completely absorbed. Now,close the lid and change setting to pressure cook for 5 minutes.
5)After 05 min of pressure cooking,release the pressure and ready to serve hot.
