Author Notes
My nephew Miles loves pulled pork! For a family get-together, I asked him what he wanted me to make. Of course, he requested something with slow cooked pork using Latin spices. Which is how I came up with these spicy pulled pork sliders. Because the pulled pork brings spice and savory meatiness, I wanted to add some sweetness with Hawaiian rolls. Some lovely pickled red onion helps to cut into the heavy richness of the pulled pork and adds a nice crunch to the sliders. Lastly, the creamy cilantro lime sauce brings everything together with its luscious richness. The creamy sauce adds a zing and cools the tongue from all the wonderful spices in the pulled pork. Every component serves a purpose and helps to make this a complete dish.
