So I make my regular margaritas (with fresh squeezed lime and simple syrup, tequila and cointreau or triple sec) but I add in the grilled lemon and Oh. My. Gerd!!! Sooo good! The grilled lemon adds a fresh sweet and smokiness that I can't describe. Oh and a floater of grand marnier on top doesn't hurt it either.

Disregarding some previous fruit confusion I can say this recipe is fantastic. I needed a few lemons but I also maybe didn’t cut them right or let them cool long enough. A nice take on a margarita if you’re firing up the grill. This will become a regular in my rotation.

Why the hatefulness? It was an error, we all make them. Peace and health

Is it a Grilled Lemon Margarita or a Grilled Pineapple Margarita? The ingredients state its lemon but the directions call for grilling the pineapple.

Hi Joni! Thanks so much for catching, and sorry about that. We've updated the recipe!

Pineapple?? Lemon?? OK, which is it or both? Please check and maybe reprint the recipe. Can one juice a lemon that has been sliced? Thanks.

Exactly— no one proofread this prior to printing. Amateur.

Wondered the same thing, Inga. I think it's supposed to be the lemon that is grilled. Nowhere does a pineapple come into play..
