Spaghetti with mince meat of beef, is a pretty good plate for all seasons, winter to summer etc.
It's a recipe cooked particularly in Greece by housewives, but you can also find it in (Greek) restaurants.
INGREDIENTS:
-A bag of thin fine spaghetti
-Salt, few tea-spoonful of butter
-For mince:
Half to one mince meat of beef, depending on how many persona will eat, thus up to two-three persons, half kg would be enough, while for up to 4-5 persons, we'd need round one kilo.
1) We cook first mince meat:
-Amount of mince meat as above
-One tea spoonful salt and equally pepper
-One tin of fresh blended tomatoes, or up to 3 medium size fresh tomatoes.
-Three tablespoon olive oil.
-Some tiny pieces of clovis
-Round one teaspoonful cinamon
-One medium size or small onion
-Half small glass red wine
We prepare mince meat as following:
-We put three or a bit more tablespoonful olive oil, we cut onion to very small pieces, and we let it get fried, till whole mix obtains a browny color, especially mince meat.
-Then we squeeze in blender up to three big or medium size fresh tomatoes, or we use tomatoes in tin. (if it's winter). We add salt and pepper, and then we add some more olive oil, and we let all this mix boil. The when half done, we add clovis, and cinamon as above and we let it boil and get done. Five minutes before the end, we add the half small glass of red wine. We leave it on turned on stove for some five-ten minutes by lowering temperature. (The whole food should be done 170-200 C).
Now, for spaghetti, it's simple, we put water in a big casserole, and we throw some salt in it. As soon as it starts boiling, we put the bag of spaghetti, or less than one bag, depedning always on number of persons, and let it get done, till spaghetti becomes very soft. Then we shrink, in the right tool, we add some butter, and we mix further so that butter goes everywhere. Then we mix and arrange with a big spoon, the mince meat with spaghetti.
-We serve in deep plates, along with salad, whatever, and cold beer. We have grained cheese, by preference white cheese, and everyone puts in his/her plate accordingly.
