Gnocchi with Broccoli andĀ Figs

Ingredients
  • 1 cup chopped broccoli
  • 1/2 cup chopped dried figs
  • 1 packet gnocchi
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon good olive oil
Directions
  1. Parboil broccoli (approximately 5 minutes. It should be bright green) and rinse in cold water.
  2. Boil gnocchi (when it all floats it is done)
  3. Heat olive oil in sauce pan on medium heat.
  4. Add gnocchi, broccoli, and figs. Stir until coated.
  5. Add honey, and lemon.
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Stir, cover and let cook for 5 minutes stirring occasionally.
  8. Serve with a dash of red pepper flakes on top.
