Ingredients
  • 2 handfuls Panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 pinches Rainbow ground peppercorns
  • 2 pinches Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Onion granuals
  • 200-400 grams Beef steak I used rump
  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 Egg
  • 2 tablespoons Chilli oil
Directions
  1. Dab your steak dry with a kitchen towel, prepare 3 bowls one with the flour, one with the whisked egg, and one with the panko bread crumbs, dip both sides of your steak in the flour then the egg, lastly coat in the panko breadcrumbs and on the top section season with pepper, salt and onion granules.
  2. Prepare a hot frying pan with the chilli oil, and add your steak (the side down you have just seasoned, once it sizzles then turn the heat down slightly so it’s gently sizzling for 2 minutes, while it’s cooking add the season of pepper and onion granules and press down, turn over and cook other side for 2 mins.
  3. Pop the steak into a rack in an air fryer but can also use a pre heated oven 180, cook for a further 2 mins to achieve a medium steak, and serve with your choice and why not add some pepper corn sauce.
