Rice cooked in tomato sauce can be very delecious, besides being healthy, all seasons.
A)INGREDIENTS
-1/1/2 white rice
-three teaspoonful butter
-a tin of smashed tomatoes
-three tablespoonful olive oil
-two green peppers which we cut into small pieces after washing them well
-some salt and pepper
-half teaspoonful sugar
-two teaspoonful balsamico (optional) or half a small glass red wine
-some origano (optional)
-an onion which we cut to very small pieces
-some curry upon option
B) Preparation:
-We first boil the rice at round 170 C, till it's well done
-We put in the casserole of boiled rice butter as above and mix well till all quantity of butter is absorbed
-For sauce: We put the tomatoes (we can also use three-four fresh tomatoes from groceries which we blend), whatever it is we put them in a casserole and add above ingredients one after the other by mixing well till sauce and mix is well done
-Then we serve portions of each plate and put sauce in tablespoonful, by mixing evenly, till rice and sauce are mixed together,
We serve in plate along with some grained cheese (optional)
