We usually know ocra cooked in tomato sauce, with few more things and spices, but we'll now have a recipe of fried ocra with other vegetables:
A)INGREDIENTS
-A bag of frozen ocra from Super Market
-Three medium size potatoes
-Two onions
-Three pieces of fresh zucchini
-Five tablespoon olive oil
-One 1/4 of salt and pepper
B)PREPARATION
We open the bag of ocra and we put it in a big pan, after being washed well, to get off stuck ice, having been in fridge
We put the olive oil in pan as above
We start frying this at round 170 C on cooking stove; after five minutes of frying, having prepared in the mean time the other ingredients, we put them in same pan as always: We cut the three green fresh zucchini, in to rounded small pieces, having washed them well; we add potatoes, namely, after peeling them and washing them, we cut them also in form of chips, but fat chips, not thin ones, and put them along with zucchini, by letting whole mix get fried. After 5-7 min, we cut the onion in medium size pieces and add it. -We let this whole mix get fried till it's well done, by putting some salt and pepper on entire mix in them mean time. As soon as it's almost done, we lower temperature of stove to up 100 C, and have it still for three min get done.
