French Baguette

1 pound
New York Strip or Hanger Steak

Marie's Chunky Blue Cheese Dressing

1/4 cup
Prepared Horseradish

2 tablespoons
Olive Oil

Salt, Pepper, Chives
Directions

Preheat oven to 350F.

Cut baguette into ½ inch slices on a diagonal. Brush both sides of baguette slices with oil. Transfer to a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes flipping halfway through.

Season steak with salt and pepper.

Heat cast iron skillet over medium-high heat until very hot. Add 1 tablespoon of oil to the pan. Sear steak 3-4 minutes and flip. Sear for another 3-4 minutes or until desired doneness. Let rest for 10 minutes before cutting into ½ inch slices.

In a medium bowl, combine blue cheese and horseradish.
To assemble: place a slice of steak on top of a baguette slice. Add a little horseradish blue cheese on top. Repeat with remaining ingredients.

Garnish with black pepper and chives.
