A question about a recipe: Monsoon Chicken Curry - what is an acceptable substitute for the coconut milk? I am allergic to coconut.

I have a question about step 3 on the recipe "Monsoon Chicken Curry" from pauljoseph. It says:

Try with Yogurt. now and then I also make without coconut milk
