Here is a delicious tomato soup for winter using high quality canned tomato. It might have the flavor you like because of the initial roasting and carmelization of the tomatoes. To make it taste more like Heinz, you might like to add some spices used in catsup, like a dash of allspice, dry mustard, celery seed. This is absolute simple and flavorful on it's own though, make a grilled cheese to go with for a heavenly experience.

A balsamic vinigar reduction will enhance the flavour of the soup, add when the soup is done it tastes just the same
