Hi Linda! I used a 9 x 12 baking dish and it worked great!

The recipe is adapted from one on Smitten Kitchen's site (http://smittenkitchen.com/2009/12/spinach-and-cheese-strata/) and she calls for a 3 quart gratin dish or other ceramic baking dish.
