Salt ratio in cookies to other ingredients- is there a standrd ratio?

I have a question about the recipe "Chubby Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies" from mrslarkin.

This cookie does in fact have more salt than you would expect! But remember that because of its loosely-packed structure, kosher salt is less "salty" teaspoon-per-teaspoon than table salt. You might try adding just a scant teaspoon of salt and adding more as you see fit -- you can always add more, but you can't remove salt!
