Broccoli Rab

My husband brought home about 3# of rabe. I have no garlic in the house. Can I steam it and freeze it for later use?

Yes, you can freeze greens, but you'll want to use an ice bath to stop the cooking quickly or you can end up with bitter veg. The National Center for Home Food Preservation has general guides for veg, including greens. How long you blanch depends on how young/tender the veg is.
