Cast Iron cookware

Is cast iron cookware (not the enameled kind) compatible with glasstop stoves?

Yes. There are those who will advise otherwise, but I've had a couple of glass top stoves and my cast iron cookware worked just fine.

Yes, just be VERY VERY VERY careful. Cast iron is a lot heavier than clad or steel, and you WILL shatter your top if you lose your grip.
