A question about a recipe: Marian's Morning Glory Muffins

I have a question about step 3 on the recipe "Marian's Morning Glory Muffins" from Canned. It says:

"Sift flours, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, baking soda and salt in a medium bowl. Whisk to mix thoroughly." How much baking soda? Any baking powder?

Since no else is taking a stab at it. :0) I did a quick search looking for similar recipes and ratios of flours, I found a couple recipes that suggested: 2 tsp baking powder and 1/2 tsp baking soda.
