Urgent! Roasting Times for Pork Shoulder

Hello: I have a recipe for a 7-8 pound pork shoulder that says it should be roasted for 5.5 hours at 325 degrees. The piece of meat I have is only 3.25 pounds and I'm wondering if I should adjust the time. Please advise and thanks!

Yes! Since your shoulder is less than half the weight of the piece of meat the recipe calls for, it should take significantly less time to cook. I'd start testing it after 2.5 hours.
