Does anyone know if pre shredded sweet potatoes are available?

It may be best to call ahead to your local grocer to see availability -- pre-shredded potatoes are often available, but sweet potatoes may be a different story. To ensure freshness however, shredding them yourself might be a good idea.

I rarely see them where I live, but they will shred quickly in your food processor. You may save more time then calling all over town looking for preshredded.
