Urgent! Pork Safety

I left out raw pork chops for 17 hours in a coolish, but not cold, area. Is it safe if I cook it throughly in green chile stew?

Nope. Though cooking would kill most of the bacteria, some types of bacteria produce toxins that are heat stable.
