Any tips for cooking nougat? Mine was a squishy mess. Only thing I suspect is that I didn't use a heavy-based pan.

Thanks for that. Shall try again incorporating all the tips. And if all else fails I'll pop it in a low oven for 2 hours as suggested also. Great!!
