Absolutely! Cheesecake freezes beautifully! One word of caution -- because it's so dense, it can take a while to thaw. I like to move it from the freezer to the fridge a day before I want to serve it, just to be safe.

I have frozen mine in the springform pan well wrapped with plastic wrap and then put clean kitchen towels around for transport. Then remove the towels but leave it wrapped until time to serve than remove from springform and place on pretty serving plate and slice with sharp long knife dipped in warm water between slices and serve with fruit sauce to compliment the cheesecake. I rarely have any left to bring home. This has always worked for me, hope this helps.

Yes. Home or bakery-made freezes up to 3 montths; commercial cheesecake half a year.
