Chickpeas dry to cooked volume.

I am getting ready to make the Zahav hummus. Yes, I know I'm behind but at least I'm getting there now! I cook my chickpeas in bulk then freeze them. (Plus I think of beans in terms of weight - one pound = X volume) The recipe's instructions start with 1 cup dry chickpeas. Any idea what the volume of one cup dried chickpeas is, more or less? Thanks!!
