I was sent a note that I had a private msg but didnt recognize the name. Didn't open it. Was that part of the bug?

Sorry! My reply was a little confusing. You will not see a message in your Food52 inbox, we've gone and deleted all of those (they were mainly gibberish, anyway). You'll just see the email in your personal inbox, notifying you of the message received.
