what does VE mean in a muffin base recipe?

Is this in metric, ie grams? If so, wow that's a lot of vanilla extract. That's a really big batch of muffins ;)

I assume this is a commercial recipe in metric. There's another recipe on the same whiteboard that uses the gram abbreviation and there are zero references to any Imperial measurements (ounces, cups, quarts, etc.).

Plus, the quantities here are large enough where these are clearly not recipes for one pie or small servings.
