Can I make white chocolate with sweetened condensed milk instead of powdered milk and sugar?

I am dairy free and gluten free, I have pure cocoa butter that I will use and homemade sweetened condensed soy or oat milk, I am curious if I can used this as an alternative to powdered coconut milk when I really am not a fan of the nutty flavor. since sweetened condensed milk doesn't crystallize, would it work as a stable ingredient?

Hi Kameron! What a cool project! Though I've never made vegan white chocolate myself, I've been doing a bit of research about this and have found that some recipes use powdered sugar in place of powdered nondairy milk, plus a tablespoon of cashew or almond butter (this recipe in particular: https://glutenfreeonashoestring.com/vegan-white-chocolate/). Do you have those ingredients available? Other recipes use powdered sugar plus coconut oil (linking them below). I am thinking you might not be able to use the sweetened condensed milk in this recipe because it likely won't set up as well in the final product. You also won't be able to control the sugar/sweetness level as well in the chocolate.

Hope this helps!
