Hi there! My grocery store doesn’t have pumpkins but does have butternut squash. Would that be a good substitute, or too sweet?

You can substitute butternut squash for pumpkin in just about any recipe. You could probably use any of the darker orange flesh squash you wanted, like cheese or Hubbard varieties.

Most definitely! The recipe will be equally delicious - go for it!
